On August 25th, Holly's Hope: for animals in need, hosted the First Annual
WALK FOR ONTARIO FARM SANCTUARIES.
16 teams assembled at Dufferin Grove Park and walked 2.2 kms to Kensington Market (Toronto) to raise funds for, and awareness of, the plight of farmed animals. Our goal: to raise funds for participating Ontario Farm Sanctuaries, and to gain support for, and compassionate treatment of, farmed animals.
We raised $12,000.00 and got the attention of a brand new television show called,The CrowdFunder Show - Fox 29 WUTV. Holly's Hope has been selected to be featured in a segment entitled :
HELP SUPPORT FARM SANCTUARIES.
There will be a televised phone in segment on The CrowdFunder Show - and an online campaign through the popular website: FundRazr. This online event runs Now until December 13th, 2013

Sharon DiGenova and Lucie Lauzon have been teaming up for the past 4 years - bringing fun and mayhem to your holiday photo experience. We have had every size from Chihuahua to Newfoundlanders. Every companion from Cats and dogs to mice, rabbits, guinea pigs and hedge hogs. We've had solo pets and gangs of five. Families are welcome to join in too!

Proceeds support Toronto Animal Services (south) and IFAW's Northern Dog Project.
About the Project: For more than a decade, IFAW has been working with First Nations Communities in the Northern Regions of James Bay - providing life saving veterinary clinics and vital education to these remote communities. Thousands of dogs have been vaccinated against deadly diseases, treated for a wide range of painful conditions and debilitating injuries, and spayed and neutered to help humanely manage an otherwise unmanageable, free roaming dog population. The Northern Dog Project has garnerd some invalable partnerships to help make their work for these dogs and communities viable. Toronto Animal Services south has welcomed van loads of dogs from the Northern reserves (following their 2+ day road trips) and found loving caring homes, for those in need.
For this reason, these organizatins will be this years recipients of the proceeds.
