HOLLY'S HOPE 5TH ANNUAL WALK FOR ONTARIO FARM SANCTUARIES
THE VIRTUAL EDITION: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
For the past 4 summers, Holly's Hope has sponsored a Walk for Ontario Farm Sanctuaries which began in Dufferin Grove Park in Downtown Toronto and ended in Kensington Market during Pedestrian Sunday. This was a 3.2 Klm walk with an
average of 100 people in attendance. Over the past 5 years, more and more summer events have emerged and less people have been in attendance. Thankfully, while attendance may have dropped, online donations, pledges and fund raising initialtives have continued to grow. This year Holly's Hope is doing a VIRTUAL WALK from Dufferin Grove Park to each of the participating sanctuaries, covering 765 (virtual) klms . Every $25.00 pledged will equal 1 kilometer in the virtual world. If we are able to reach our goal, and "walk" to all 7 participating sanctuaries, we will have raised over $19,000.00. If we can raise $25,000.00, we will all be able to "walk home" from our final sanctuary as well. So - let's....

Our Sanctuaries provide relief and care to sick, injured, distressed and ill-fated animals. Your contribution supports these efforts. Your donations provide: Hay, feed and supplements. Vets, farriers and sheep shearing. Repairs and upkeep of barns, shelters, fencing, gating and pastures. Bedding, hydro, construction (as required) and so much more.

How Can I Get Involved ?
• Make a Donation
• Collect & submit Pledges as an individual Virtual Walker
• Create a Team & be the Captain: Collect pledges with your team-mates - as many as you can so that your team can raise the most money (and walk the farthest) for the animals. (Your team will also get your logo or promo on the Holly's Hope webpage and our Fundrzr page)
• Create your own Fundraising Initiative:Donate a percentage of Sales from your business, or put out a donation jar at work. Have a bake (or garage) sale or auction. Use your imagination and have fun! (down loadable pdfs coming soon)
